boston, masachuttes based trio 27 was formed in 1997, all of them coming from the more heavy part of the rock world. thus still rooted there within, though playing beautiful dark-pop - a style totally uniquely 27. a style difficult to describe, actually: strikingly original, from slow & evocative, to sultry, to upbeat, to heart wrenching emotion. they fuse sample loops, live instruments and maria's incredible voice to create emotive, broad ranged, pop songs and they rock!
